During the smoking process, which takes about 2 hours, you will see how to ignite the smoker, wait for it to reach the right temperature, and set the food in it. During this process, you will see how the colour develops in its typical amber and brown. compare the taste of your favourite ingredients before and after smoking them.
Skilled craftmanship for a unique taste
Preserving food by smoking has a very long tradition. In this activity you will experience this essential, yet genuine process, where everything is handmade, even the food smoker was skillfully crafted by its owner using a propane tank. In order to achieve the correct browning and flavor, selected cherry chips are used. More food is smoked, the better! This activity is recommended to large groups.

While the food gets ready, you may also want to do some sightseeing along the Yumeshima Kaido. This relatively short route offers an encounter with the “real Japan”, with its friendly inhabitants, its beautiful natural landscapes, and historical attractions.
