Can I stay with pets?
Pets are not allowed in the venue.
Can two adults and two elementary school children stay in one room?
You can stay in residence or bunk room type accommodations.
If you are staying in a cottage or dome tent type accommodation, please share two rooms.
Can I bring in my own BBQ?
Please note that bringing in your own BBQ or cooking is not permitted. Please select the plan that includes dinner.
Can I receive/send packages?
Yes, it is possible.
We can also accommodate those staying on Omishima Island, even if they are not staying at WAKKA. Please feel free to contact us.
Is there a shuttle to the accommodation?
Available before check-in and after check-out.
Pick-up and drop-off to Omishima BS, Kamiura Bicycle Rental Terminal, and Sakari Port is available.
I only have a breakfast plan, what should I do about dinner?
【For Guests Staying in Residences, Trailers, Dome Tents, or Cottages】
Dinner can be added to your reservation up to 3 days before your stay.
(BBQ in summer / Bouillabaisse in winter)
Please contact us via phone, email, official LINE, or social media.
*Trailers are available for BBQ even in the winter season.
【For Guests Staying in Bunk Rooms】
You have the following options:
1.Order light meals at WAKKA CAFE
2.Bring your own takeout food, such as bento
3.Visit restaurants on the island
Beverages are available at the café counter in the facility until 9:00 PM.
If you wish to visit restaurants on the island, a shuttle service is available (scheduled times).
Please inquire at check-in.
Is there a dinner-included plan for the bunk room type?
Dinner-included plans are not available for the bunk room type.
Please choose from the following options:
1.Order light meals at WAKKA CAFE
2.Bring your own takeout food, such as bento boxes
3.Dine out at restaurants on the island
Beverages are available at the facility’s café counter until 9:00 PM.
If you wish to dine out on the island, a shuttle service is available (based on a set schedule).
Please inquire at check-in.
What amenities are available?
We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
To reduce plastic waste, we do not offer disposable amenities as a standard.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in bringing your own items.
If you forget to bring anything, we have some available at the front desk—please feel free to ask.
Are sleepwear or room clothes provided?
Sleepwear is provided in residence, trailer, cottage, and dome tent accommodations.
For bunk room guests, sleepwear is available upon request.
Please note that quantities are limited, so we recommend requesting in advance if needed.
Can I request a cake?
We do not offer whole cakes, but we can prepare a message plate (¥2,000 including tax), which includes a personalized message on a large plate along with two seasonal desserts.
Alternatively, you are welcome to order a cake from an online shop and have it delivered to WAKKA. We will receive, store, and serve it for you on the day of your celebration.
If you order from the nearby patisserie Country Time, we can pick it up on your behalf. (Advance reservation required.)
Please contact us early to make arrangements.
How far are the toilet and shower facilities from the room?
The farthest room is approximately 60 meters away.
May I bring in food and drinks?
Bringing in food and drinks is allowed in all types of rooms.
However, we kindly ask that you refrain from eating or drinking during dinner service hours and inside bunk room accommodations.
Please enjoy your food and beverages in designated areas and during permitted times.
When do cancellation fees apply?
Cancellation Policy
・The day before/the day/no notice: 100%
・From 3 days before: 50%
・From 7 days before: 20%
Please note that the cancellation policy was revised in July 2024.
◆For bookings of 3 or more rooms, the group cancellation policy will apply:

Is there a bath available?
Please note that the bathtub is available only residence type room.
The other type of room has a shower or shared shower without a bathtub.
For cottage and dome tent accommodations, tickets to a nearby bathing facility are included.
If you would like to use them, please let us know at check-in, and we will be happy to provide them.
Are the dome tents hot or cold?
The dome tents are equipped with air conditioning, so the interior remains comfortable regardless of the season.
However, please note that you will need to step outside to use the restroom and shower facilities.
Is it possible to use fireworks?
Fireworks are allowed in designated areas until 9:00 PM.
Lighters and buckets are available, so please bring only the fireworks themselves.
However, we kindly ask that you refrain from using:
・Fireworks that produce loud noises
・Aerial (launching) fireworks
・Fireworks that generate excessive smoke
・Any other types that may disturb other guests
Is fishing available nearby?
There are no specific restricted areas for fishing nearby.
Fishing gear rentals are also available.

Is there a laundry facility available?
For residence-type accommodations, a laundry machine is available in the room.
Guests staying in trailers, cottages, dome tents, or bunk rooms may use the shared laundry room—equipped with a washing machine and dryer—for ¥550 per night during their stay.
What is the difference between the standard BBQ and the premium BBQ?
The main difference is that the standard BBQ is prepared using a gas grill, while the premium BBQ is served over a charcoal fire.
Menu examples are as follows:

Can we still have a BBQ if it rains?
BBQ can be enjoyed even in light rain.
However, depending on wind direction or heavy rainfall, if there is a risk of rain blowing in or splashing, we may relocate your BBQ from the private deck to the café terrace area.
In the case of severe weather such as a typhoon, where even the café terrace cannot be used, the BBQ may be canceled and fully refunded.
CYCLING SUPPORT

Do you have rental bicycles for children?
The rental bicycles at WAKKA are suitable for individuals with a height between 148 cm and 200 cm.
Can I use a cycle taxi from Imabari to Onomichi?
Due to service area limitations, you would need to get on or off the cycle taxi in Ōshima, Hakata Island, or Ōmishima.
We are unable to offer direct service from Imabari to Onomichi (or from Onomichi to Imabari).
Can I make a reservation for a cycle taxi?
Yes, reservations are available.
Please feel free to contact us by phone, email, or social media—whichever method is most convenient for you.
Do I need to make a reservation for the bicycle return service?
Please note that we may not be able to accommodate same-day applications.
Please make a reservation for this service when you make your bicycle rental reservation.
When can I make a reservation?
Generally, you must apply six months in advance.
We recommend that you apply for the bicycle return service at the same time as reserving your rental bicycle.
CAFE

When are your regular closing days?
We are closed on Tuesdays.
If Tuesday falls on a public holiday, we will be open.
In principle, we do not observe substitute holidays.
Can I make a reservation?
Reservations are accepted on weekdays only.
For tour group bookings, please contact us separately for consultation.
Can I bring my dog with me?
We kindly ask that pets are not brought into the venue.
What are your business hours?
Our business hours are from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (until 3:00 PM during the winter season).
Please note that the last order for the lunch menu is at 2:00 PM.
Can I come with my own boat?
Arriving by boat is also possible. Please use the WAKKA pier.
Depending on the size of your boat, we may ask you to move it or use the nearby Inokuchi Port instead. Please contact us in advance to confirm. (TEL: 0897-72-8705)
Please note that sailing vessels with deep drafts and boats over 30 feet cannot be moored at our pier. In such cases, please use Inokuchi Port.
Can I use the café only, without staying overnight?
You are more than welcome to visit the café only.

Can I participate in activities without staying overnight?
You are more than welcome to enjoy our activities without an overnight stay.
Are there any activities available on the same day without advance reservation?
The following activities may be available for same-day participation:
・Bicycle rentals
・Tatara Bridge short cruising
・Okunoshima short tour
However, availability depends on the reservation status.
If you already have a specific activity in mind, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
